We are Orbit Festival. A remarkable place, which is a discovery in itself already. Variety is our identity, and we share our identity with our partners. We’re joining forces with IsBurning Amsterdam, United Identities, StrandedFM, Uncloud and Prisma Groep. An intimate, impressive festival on the 29th of July 2023 with a stunning line-up at one of the most unique locations in Utrecht ever.

Orbit festival will take place at Fort bij Vechten in Bunnik. For specific navigation addresses and how to get there, check out the page ‘Transportation’.

Orbit Festival takes place on Saturday 29th of July 2023. The festival site is open from 11:00 – 23:00.

Our primary core value is to create a place where everyone feels completely safe, accepted and respected.

Orbit Festival will be a day full of memorable moments and unity. An experience like this can’t exist without tolerance and a flexible attitude from everyone. Please help us by treating your environment with respect and by looking out for yourself and one another.

At Orbit Festival racism, sexism, ableism, body shaming, homophobia or transphobia are absolutely not tolerated and neither are sexual harassment and/or violence.

If you experience any discomfort or feel unsafe/unwelcome you can report this to our festival crew, the security or the present Awareness team members. Our Awareness team members are walking around at the festival and are recognizable by their fluorescent vests.

We also have a phone number you can reach by Whatsapp, so feel free to send a text if you feel the need. The number is: +316 8378 1506 (only reachable at the festival day).

All shared information will be treated with privacy and confidentiality.

If a person is intimidating, being appropriate, violent or aggressive in both behaviour and/or communication we will undertake action immediately. This also means that we can refuse a person entry to our festival if we notice this type of behavior at the entrance.

If a visitor is in violation with our house rules, we retain the right the remove this visitor from our festival without the reimbursement of their ticket. If necessary, we will also inform the police.

Please leave the surroundings as clean and peaceful as you approached it. If you would like to report an incident or complaint after the festival you can send an e-mail to info@was030.nl and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

The entrance to Orbit Festival is opened from 12:00 until 20:00h. After this, it won’t be possible to enter Orbit as the entrance will be closed.

No, unfortunately this is not possible. After leaving Orbit Festival you can only re-enter the festival with a new, unscanned ticket.

To visit Orbit Festival you have to be at least 21 years old. Your ID might possibly be checked. If you aren’t able to show your ID it’s not possible to visit the event.

No, Orbit Festival is PIN only.

During Orbit Festival it’s only possible to pay with PIN, payment with cash is not possible.

Yes, there are lockers available at Orbit Festival. In these, you can store your clothing and valuable items which you don’t want to always carry around with you. The lockers can be opened and closed endlessly. You can rent a locker online in advance or during the festival at the locker desk. We advise you to rent a locker in advance, this means you don’t have to queue and wait at the festival. The use of a locker is at its own risk.

We strongly advise you to only buy your ticket via the official presale addresses and TicketSwap. The organization can only guarantee for these tickets to be valid and provide a service based on that.

Sealed Tickets are tickets that can only be downloaded shortly before the event. Once the tickets are available for download, you will receive an email. If you’ve purchased tickets for a group of people, you’ll be able to assign the tickets or send them to your friends once they are available for download.

We strongly advise you to buy your tickets via Ticketswap when Orbit Festival is sold out. Ticketswap is an official ticket partner. The organization advises against the purchase of tickets via a third party because the organization can’t guarantee that these tickets will be valid. The organization can only guarantee for these tickets to be valid and provide a service based on that.

Yes, please! In order to do so please turn up the brightness of your phone to 100% and keep your mobile-ready.

This can happen of course. Check our inbox and spam box of your e-mail first to be sure. If you really can’t find it, check your bank account and look for the order number that is listed in the description of your payment. You can use this order number to find your tickets HERE on the website of Eventix.

In case you’ve rented a locker online via our ticket shop, you will receive an e-mail at 19.00h on the day before the festival. In this e-mail, you can find your locker number and the pin code of your locker. This means you don’t have to visit the locker desk at the festival, you can look up your locker right away and use it. If you haven’t received a locker number and code please contact Lockerbox via tickets@lockerbox.nl or visit the service desk at the festival with your proof of purchase.

In case you bought an online parking ticket, please show this to the employee at the parking lot, this can be printed out or you can scan it on your phone. When your ticket is scanned and is valid, you can drive into the parking lot and park your car.

In case you bought an online bus ticket, you can show this at the bus (printed or on your phone). When your ticket is scanned and valid, you will receiver a hardcopy bus ticket. After, you can enter the bus.

Yes, you should show your hardcopy ticket at the way back as well. Only by showing this ticket, you can enter the bus again. In case you lost it, you can buy a one way ticket for €6, -.  NOTE: you can only pay by pin.

All lost & found items are collected after the festival and will be posted on Tuesday afternoon after the festival on the Facebook event page. If you recognize your lost item you can collect it at the office of Elevation Events, Leidseweg 125, 3522 HC Utrecht. For questions, you can contact marketing@elevation-events.com.

Items that were left behind in the lockers will be taken by the rental company of the lockers (Lockerbox). Did you forget something? Fill in the ‘Lost & Found’ form on the website of Lockerbox and they will contact you.

Yes, at Orbit Festival there is a fully equipped first-aid facility present. Medical specialists – who usually work at hospitals – are present at that post. The present facilities are more or less equal to the ones at an E.R. – so in case something would happen you will be in good hands. Next to this the first-aid post is also equipped with some types of medication and the basic utilities, such as paracetamol and band aids.

Yes, in general, it’s possible to temporarily use one of the spaces at the first-aid post at Orbit Festival.You can report yourself at the first-aid post whenever you need it, you don’t have to report this in advance. In the unlikely event of a crowded first-aid post, it could be possible that you’d have to wait for a bit or that you get assigned to an alternative location. At the first-aid post, there’s also a refrigerator present that can be used to temporarily store the products.

Yes, this is possible, but please make sure that you are in the possession of a medical passport and that you’re able to show this at the entrance. Next to this, it’s also important that it’s shown clearly which medication you are carrying. Report the fact that you’re carrying medication during the visitation, after this, a medical specialist will examine the medication and will decide if you can take it inside with you. Generally, it’s possible to store your medical item(s) at the first-aid post if you brought something that has to stay cooled for medical purposes or something that can’t be carried around with you very easily. Please report this in advance via info@elevation-events.com.  Also, notify the security staff before the visitation starts so a medical specialist can determine if the medical item(s) can be brought inside.

This is only possible in very exceptional cases. This only accounts for a specific diet for medical reasons and you have to be in possession of a doctor’s note. It also has to be clear that the food required for the diet isn’t available at the event. Please contact info@elevation-events.com if you have any doubts.

This is a consideration and choice that only you can make. In our opinion you’re more than welcome. But keep in mind that Orbit Festival is a busy event with a lot of visitors and the accompanying crowds. Are you in need of some relaxation? There usually are plenty of chill-out spots where you can retreat and relax. At least talk to the people that are close to you if you’re having doubts about visiting Orbit Festival. You’ll probably come to the right conclusion after doing so.

It’s your own responsibility and decision to visit Orbit Festival if you are pregnant. Research has shown that alcohol and loud noises can be harmful to unborn children. Where appropriate, consult your doctor to discuss what would be a wise decision.

Yes, a service dog, or similar, is the only animal that is allowed at Orbit Festival. However, we strongly discourage visiting an event with your service dog (or similar). Contact info@elevation-events.com if you are still considering this or if you have any questions.

Yes, there’s a variety of food trucks present at Orbit festival with a diversity of kitchens.

We don’t want to spoil everything but at you can choose from fries, snacks, pizza, hamburgers, wraps, spring rolls, grilled cheese-sandwiches, fruit and sweets i.e.

Yes, at Orbit festival every food truck has to offer at least 1 vegetarian item. In this manner we hope to motivate our visitors to make a conscious decision. There are a few vegan options available as well.

Yes, during the composition of the food trucks we take into account that gluten free options have to be offered as well. This means that there are several food trucks that offer gluten free options.

No, cigarettes are unfortunately not available at Orbit festival.

Yes, during Orbit. festival, earplugs are available at all bars.

All drinks are being poured in reusable cups or PET bottles at Orbit Festival. How does this work? You pay €1.50 for your first cup or PET bottle. Is your cup or bottle empty? Return it at the bar when you’re getting a new drink and your cup or PET bottle will be switched with a new cup or bottle. Are you done with your cup? Then you can return it at the bar and temporarily switch it for a cup token. When you want to get a new drink all you only have to return the cup token to receive a new cup or bottle which means you don’t have to pay for it again.

Several researches have shown that the use of hardcups contributes to a sustainable festival significantly. For this organization alone the use of hardcups saves out two million single use cups/bottles on a yearly basis.

Yes, you may, but please realize that a cup can only become sustainable if we can reuse it during our next event. Are you leaving? Return your cup at the bar. You will then receive a cup token which you can use to win several cool prizes!

With the cup token you can win several cool prizes. We’ll announce the winning cup numbers in the Facebook event on the Tuesday after the festival. You can use this number to check if you’ve won a prize.

Yes, Orbit festival keeps a close eye on the weather the entire time. While doing so we’re assisted by several weather offices. Should the weather impact the safety or the course of the festival we will inform and advice you on what to do on time.

There are several covered sites at Orbit festival. All these sites together can keep the majority of our visitors dry during a rainstorm. However, if this happens during the busiest moment at the festival not all visitors will be able to take shelter. This is why we advise you to bring a raincoat should there be a slight chance of rain.

No, basically there are no poncho’s available which is why we assume that everyone will bring their own raincoat. We’ve made this decision from a sustainable point of view.

Obviously, this mostly depends on the weather. In any case we recommend you to wear comfortable shoes which are comfy enough to have a dance in. We don’t recommend high heels, flipflops and bare feet because the surface at Orbit festival isn’t evenly everywhere and consists of different materials like grass, asphalt, wooden floor, tent floor and ramps. This means that not everything is connected seamless to each other. We’ll do our utmost best to cover most of the festival site should there be a lot of rain. Even still it’s a good idea to wear proper footwear or boots in that scenario.

Our advice is to dress in comfortable clothing that fits the weather conditions. Things to at least keep in mind:

• It can cool down in the evening, make sure to bring something warm for the night time;
• Bring a jacket if there’s a possibility of rain;
• Bring sunglasses, a hat or cap if the sun is shining bright during the day;
• Proper footwear that is water-resistant can provide extra comfort when the weather is damp.

Yes, it’s allowed to bring sunscreen to Orbit festival if the sunscreen is spreadable and the quantity contained is 100ml or less. Any form of sunscreen spray/spray can’s is not allowed.

Yes, there’s free drinking water available at the toilets. At the bar you can also receive drinking water against payment.

A number of items isn’t allowed to keep Orbit festival safe and fun, i.e. glass items, plastic bottles, water bags, canned items, fireworks, nitrous oxide cartridges, spraying cans, drones, umbrella’s, selfie sticks and other – subject to the judgement of the staff – disturbing or dangerous items too as drugs, (fire)weapons and /or other dangerous objects or fabrics, food, (alcoholic) drinks and/or pets (with the exception of service dogs or similar). You will be denied entry to the venue and the police will be notified if prohibited items are found on you.

Yes, small bags are allowed. However, it is strongly advised to bring only essential items to the festival. Large bags are discouraged, also because the locker have a limited size which means large bags/suitcases can’t be stored.

This depends on the camera. Small, non-professional camera’s and phones are allowed, but only if the recordings are for personal use – the publication of these images is prohibited. Professional photo- and film equipment can only be brought inside if you are in position of a press accreditation.

No, drugs are not allowed just like everywhere else in The Netherlands. Drugs that are condoned in The Netherlands are also prohibited at Orbit festival. Orbit festival has a zero-tolerance policy in the field of drugs. In the detection of drugs, you will be denied entry to the festival/you will be removed from the festival and the policy will be informed.

No, there is no specific dress code but a neat appearance is required. The wearing of a football shirt and/or discriminating and/or other offensive clothing, as well as face-covering clothing is not allowed at least.

No, without written consent it is prohibited for any third party to promote/advertise and/or sell goods/services, like nitrous oxide and/or food at or around Orbit festival.

Yes, smoking is allowed at Orbit festival but only at the uncovered areas. Whilst smoking outside, keep your fellow visitors in mind and always dispose your cigarettes in a bin.

Yes, you may bring in one E-cigarette to Orbit festival. The accompanying liquid can only be brought inside if the package is new and sealed (maximum of 1 package per visitor). The smoking of a E-cigarette is only allowed at the uncovered areas, just like the smoking of a regular cigarette.

Whilst entering Orbit festival you will be requested to cooperate with a voluntary visitation of yourself and the items you’re carrying. You always have the possibility to choose a security staff member of your own gender for the visitation. Make sure to pick the right queue in order to do so. Sexual violence or sexual harassment are not tolerated at Orbit Festival in any way. In case you feel harassed or threatened: please report this at the organization. You can do so at all the security or first-aid staff members. They will aid you and contact a superior from the organization who can further help you. All the security staff members have followed a course and know how to handle the situation. There are female security staff members present as well. At the first aid post there are professionals you can aid you. You can also report the situation online. Sen dan e-mail to info@elevation-events.com (this address isn’t monitored permanently). In case of transgressive behaviour you can also file a report with the police. The organization can assist you with this if wanted. Obviously all notifications are treated confidentially. It’s well known that there are risks to the use of alcohol and/or drugs. But be extra careful when using alcohol and drugs at a temperature above 20 degrees Celsius. Alcohol and drugs increase the body temperature. So, if you’re dancing for a long period and drink too little the risk of overheating increases. Make sure to drink plenty of water but also not too much: 1 or 2 glasses per hour maximum. If you drink too much water in a short period there’s also the risk of water poisoning. If someone dies when using alcohol/drugs this is usually caused by overheating or water poisoning due to alcohol/drugs. So be extra careful and make sure to cool yourself down every now and then. Look out for each other and don’t leave each other’s side. Make sure to test your drugs before you visit the festival, you can’t do this at the festival itself. Orbit festival supports the ‘I Love My Ears’ I campaign because we find it important that you will be able to enjoy good music not just now but also in 20 years from now. You should take good care of your ears because of this. You can find a number of useful and handy tips at www.ilovemyears.nl on how to protect your ears as good as possible whilst still enjoying music. There are earplugs available at all the bars at Orbit festival.

Visit the first aid post if you or one of your friends is not feeling well. Don’t be scared to tell them about your use of alcohol or drugs: the better you inform them about the situation, the better they are able to help you. The medical confidentiality is applicable here as well which means we won’t press charges, so feel free to share.

Forced and unsafe sex are more common when people are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Respect one another and check out www.sense.info/soas for more information on unsafe sex. Next to this, the use of alcohol and drugs can result in concentration impaired and a lower responsiveness rate which causes you to be a danger to yourself and other road users. Make sure to stop on time and to adjust your transportation to this. And don’t forget to drink water or isotone drinks to replenish your fluids before you go to sleep.

Yes, during Orbit festival there is a shuttle bus available for transportation.

Find the description below or take a look at this map:

1. Walk down the stairs/escalators at Utrecht Central Station
2. After, turn immediately left, which means you’ll run into the Beatrix building
3. Walk back past the Beatrix building (left side), so that you will come out underneath the central station
4. The shuttle buses will leave from here every 15 minutes.

At the festival site the bus will depart from the same location as where you were dropped off during the day. From the festival follow the signs with ‘Shuttle bus’ if you can’t remember this location.

During Orbit Festival the shuttle bus will drive from 11.30 (station Utrecht Centraal) until the last visitor has left the venue which is around 01:00h. During this window the shuttle bus will drive in both directions. This means you can travel to the festival at any time during the day.

During Orbit Festival the shuttle bus drives constantly. There is a bus leaving every 15 minutes. If you use the shuttle bus at a quiet time, you may have to wait. This will rarely be more than 25 minutes.

It’s best to buy your shuttle bus ticket online. A return ticket costs €9,- ex. Ticket fee. At the bus a return ticket can be bought for €12. For the way back only one-way tickets are available for €6,- per piece. PLEASE NOTE: you can only pay with PIN!

In case you’ve bought a bus ticket online you can show this at the bus, you can use a printed ticket or your mobile. After your ticket is scanned and valid you will receive a hardcopy ticket for the bus. You can use this ticket to enter the bus.

Yes, you have to be able to show your hardcopy ticket for the return travel as well. Only upon presentation of your hardcopy ticket you can re-enter the bus. If you’ve lost your ticket you can buy a one-way ticket at the bus for €6. You can only pay by pin.

No, during Orbit festival there are no buses driving to the festival from other cities.

Yes, this is possible. Please note that is obligatory to register your bus at the organization. You can do so by sending an e-mail to info@elevation-events.com. You will then receive a registration from and instructions for you as the organizer and the bus company where you’ve rented the bus.

This information is descriped extensively in the instructions you will received after the registration of your tour bus. ‘Achterdijk’ can be used as navigation address. From there, the instructions of the traffic controllers must be followed.

No, unfortunately this is not possible due to lack of space at Orbit Festival. Tour buses have to leave inmediately after the visitors have gotten off the bus. After being completed after the festival tour buses also have to leave inmediately. Please keep our neighbours in mind when boarding the bus and make sure that the bus driver turns off the engine and music while waiting.

We recommend you to travel via station Utrecht Centraal if you want to travel to Orbit festival by public transport. Utrecht Central Station is easily accessible from all across the country. Shuttle buses are driving straight to Orbit festival from Station Utrecht Centraal. Use 9292OV to plan your trip.

Your time of departure depends on the location of your home. From Utrecht Central Station there are still trains leaving for most major cities at least until around 01:00. Check 9292OV to find out the easiest way to get home from there.

Enter ‘Achterdijk Bunnik’ as navigation address if you’re travelling by car. After seeing the first sign follow the remaining signs and the instructions of the traffic wardens.

Yes, during Orbit festival there’s special taxi stand where taxis can drop you off and pick you up later on.

Let the taxi driver use ‘Achterdijk, Bunnik’ as navigation address if you’re travelling by taxi. After seeing the first sign follow the signs with ‘Taxi’ and follow the instructions of the traffic wardens. Only official taxis can use the taxi exit, other transportation services without a blue sign cannot.

It’s not necessary to order a taxi if you want to go home because there will be plenty of taxis available at the taxi stand at the festival. To get to the taxi stand you have to follow the signs with ‘Taxi’ from the festival. There will only be official taxis with the right permits at the taxi stand. If you’ve ordered a taxi or Uber yourself after all then this taxi will be waiting for you at the Kiss & Ride. This because ordered taxis aren’t allowed to wait at the taxi stand.

Ordered taxi’s and Uber’s are referred to the Kiss & Ride. They will be waiting for you over there.

Yes, taxis aren’t charged to drop you off or pick you up at the festival.

Yes, during Orbit festival Uber taxis can drop you off and pick you up later on.

Let the Uber driver use ‘Achterdijk, Bunnik’ as navigation address if you’re travelling by Uber. After seeing the first sign follow the signs with ‘Taxi’ or ‘Kiss & Ride’ and follow the instructions of the traffic wardens. Only Uber taxis with a blue sign can use the taxi exit, Uber taxis without a blue sign can drop you off at the Kiss & Ride.

Let the Uber driver use ‘Achterdijk, Bunnik’ as navigation address if you want to travel home by Uber. Also let the Uber driver know that he/she has to follow the signs with ‘Kiss & Ride’. Walk towards the Kiss & Ride and wait here for your Uber. This is because ordered transportation services aren’t allowed to wait at the taxi stand.

Yes, Uber taxis aren’t charged to drop you off or pick you up at the festival.

Yes, during Orbit festival you can be dropped off and picked up by means of Kiss & Ride.
