Hunter is a Netherlands-based DJ whose sets unfold as carefully guided explorations of electronic music’s many edges. She moves between recognizable paths and intuitive detours, tracing rhythm and melody to uncover connecting threads between sounds that sometimes have their origins worlds apart.
Her broad musical palette allows her to move fluidly between groove-driven moments and bursts of raw energy. Expect anything from bass-heavy and percussive sounds to house, footwork, UK garage, latin electronic, percussive techno, raptor house and bubbling, always introduced with a sense of balance and purpose. This approach has led her to stages such as Lowlands and Tomorrowland.
What enchants her most in the act of DJing is the joy found in the creative process of bringing different musical elements together and seeing that same process unfold on the dancefloor, where people connect with one another through music in that shared moment. From this vision, she co-founded DOTS, a club night in her hometown of Utrecht, where curiosity and musical freedom take centre stage.
